Scholarships

The College has the following scholarships and financial aid schemes.

• Ca Fee Hu Scholarships
• Freeship to poor and needy students through Student’s Aid Fund
• Special Academic Prize for 3 Toppers in Self Financing courses

The college awards prizes and awards for excellence in academic and extra curricular activities. The college awards special scholarships which have been named after the late Mr. Ca-Fee Hu, and Rs. 1,10,000 is distributed every year amongst needy and deserving students of the Junior College and Degree College. The "Best Ca-Fee Hu Scholarship" is awarded to one outstanding student every year.

Prizes are awarded for subject toppers in each class, the value of which may vary from time to time. The college has a book-bank scheme, under which sets of books are loaned to needy and meritorious students for the entire year on payment of deposit and for a nominal charge. Help is also given to needy students from the Students' Aid Fund.

2. Scholarship for children of primary school teachers
3. Scholarship for children of Defence Service personnel
4. Freeship for students from Economically Backward Class.
