(* French & Sindhi will be taught only on availability of teaching faculty and a minimum required number of students)
- Requests for changes in optional subjects must be given in writing to the vice-principal, within four days of the commencement of the first term. Applications for change in optional subjects will not be accepted after the stipulated period.
- The medium of instruction in all subjects, other than the optional languages, is English.
Remedial English Classes
Remedial English classes are held at the beginning of each academic year for students who are weak in the subject. A well-structured course of at least twenty lectures is conducted and special emphasis is given to the improvement of spoken and written English. The aim / objective of this course is to improve the student's knowledge of English since all main subjects in the B. Com and B.M.S streams are taught in English. A nominal fee is charged for this course.

There is no provision for re-examination for S.Y.J.C. students.
The results of the F.Y.J.C. (Std XI) examination are decided on the basis of the rules laid down by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
Equal weightage is given to marks obtained in:
- the Unit Tests
- the Terminal Examination and
- the Annual Examination.
The final results are based on the average of the marks obtained i.e. (a + b + c) / 3.
There is a public examination i.e. Higher Secondary Certificate Examination at the end of S.Y.J.C. (Std XII). This examination is conducted under the auspices of, and in accordance with the rules laid down by, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
- A student will not be allowed to appear for any examination if he / she has not paid all the college dues.
- Attendance in all examinations is compulsory.
- Students have to show satisfactory progress at these examinations and in the event the performance of a student is not satisfactory he / she is likely to be detained and admission for the next term / year may be refused.
