F.Y.J.C.

Eligibility

A student who has passed standard X from any recognised board is eligible for admission to the F.Y.J.C class.

Documentation

Originals of all documents mentioned below must be available for verification at the time of pre admission and admission. The schedule for admission process is displayed on the notice board immediately after the intimation is received from the Deputy Director Office, Mumbai.

Step I

Students seeking admission to the F.Y.J.C. class are required to submit:

  1. A duly filled in pre-admission form (available at the College office).
  2. One attested copy of standard X mark-sheet.
  3. One attested copy of school leaving certificate.
  4. Students seeking admission under the Linguistic (Sindhi) Minority Quota are required to submit an attested copy of an affidavit on stamp paper of Rs.100/-, certified by a Notary stating that they belong to the Sindhi Minority, and/ or
    b. Students seeking admission under any of the Reserved Categories are required to submit an attested copy of the relevant certificate/document.
  5. Passport size photograph of  either parents or guardian

Step II

After the merit list is displayed at the College, documents to be submitted as follows:

A. Students from Maharashtra Board

  1. A duly filled admission form (available at the College office)
  2. Original standard X mark-sheet with two attested copies.
  3. Original school leaving certificate with two attested copies.
  4. a. Students seeking admission under the Linguistic (Sindhi) Minority Quota are required to submit an affidavit on stamp paper of Rs. 100/-, certified by a Notary stating that they belong to the Sindhi Minority, and/ or
    b. Students seeking admission under any of the Reserved Categories are required to submit an attested copy of the relevant certificate/document.
  5. Girl students up to third child only, are eligible for freeship provided they have been residing in Maharashtra for a minimum period of fifteen years. To avail of this freeship the student must submit an attested photocopy of her domicile certificate or the first and last page of the ration card showing the name and address (original documents must be available for verification).
  6. 6. One passport size photograph and 4 stamp size photographs.

B. Students from Boards other than Maharashtra Board (CBSE/ICSE,IB, etc.)

  1. A duly filled admission form (available at the College office)
  2. Original Standard X Mark-sheet with two attested copies.
  3. Original school leaving certificate / Transference certificate (with counter signature by appropriate educational authority), with two attested copies.
  4. a. Students seeking admission under the Linguistic (Sindhi) Minority Quota are required to submit an affidavit on stamp paper of Rs. 100/-, certified by a Notary stating that they belong to the Sindhi Minority, and/ or
    b. Students seeking admission under any of the Reserved Categories are required to submit an attested copy of the relevant certificate/ document
  5. Application for provisional eligibility certificate (prescribed form available at the College)
  6. Original Passing certificate issued by the relevant Board with two attested copies.
  7. Deed of undertaking on stamp paper of Rs. 20/- (format of the Undertaking available at the College) with one attested copy.
  8. Migration Certificate (in case there is no practice of issuing migration certificate by the Examination Board, the candidate shall accordingly produce a letter from the Examination Board or Body through which he / she has passed).
  9. A duly filled ‘Appendix A’ form (available at the College). This is applicable only in case of foreign students.
  10. One passport size photograph and 4 stamp size photographs.
