With what percentage can I obtain admission in Tolani College of Commerce in both Degree/Junior section?

Preferably over 60% in the qualifying exam i.e SSC/CBSE Board or HSC Examination.

Can I do any other course along with the Junior/Degree college Courses?

It is open to the students to take up any other vocational diploma or certificate course . The college itself conducts:

  • Diploma in Computer Application (DCA)
  • Diploma in Business Management (DBM)
  • Personality Development Courses

What is the difference between the admission procedure for BCOM and BMS course?

  1. The fees for the B.com. Courses are less as the college receives grants from the govt whereas BMS being a Self-Financing course its fees are higher.
  2. Admission to F.Y.Bcom. Class is on the basis of HSC results alone while for admission in BMS for the students in the open category admission is on the basis of HSC results(Minimum 50%) plus Score in the CCE ( Centralised Common Entrance Examination) whereas in the case of Minority students Tolani College considers only the HSC percentage.

Is attendance compulsory in your college?

Yes As per the University rules 75% per subject attendance is required and a overall attendance of 80%.

What action is taken if the attendance criteria is not obeyed ?

Students are detained.

What is the scope for Extra-Curricular Activities in your college?

We have 23 Associations that contributes for the enhancement of the overall personality of a student by conducting various activities.

How competent are your Faculty?

We have good qualified inhouse faculty and we also invite experienced, qualified guest lecturers from outside.

What about the safety of the college locality?

College is located in a very safe residential area and we have 24 hours security in the college premises and furthur we also have a Police station located nearby. Teachers and the Principal are quite approachable to the students.

What is the scope for sports in your college?

Tolani College is well-known for its sporting activities. We have several sports coaching held in the college viz

  • Judo (we have won several National level prizes for the same)

Is there any other facility provided to motivate an average student?

We pick up such student and conduct extra lectures for them. The students are also allowed to stay late and study

How many seats are there for Management and Accounts at the T.Y.B.Com. level?

There are 70 seats out of 420 for Management and the rest is for Accounts

What is the criteria for selecting students for Management seats?

It is purely on Merit basis.

Is there any Placement Facility provided by the college?
