Bachelor in Commerce
All subjects in the First Year B.Com. course are compulsory. The subjects are :

Note: In the Second Year B.Com. a few students can choose Mass Communication or Company Secretarial Practice, the rest of them are allotted Advertising.
The compulsory subjects in the Second year class are:

In the Third Year B.Com. a student has to choose one of the two options :
- Accounts or
- Management.
Set of three subjects under each category. Very few seats are available in the Management stream. The subject bifurcation is as given below:

Note: Option 3 is permissible to Management students only. Option 2 has very few seats and as such most of the students have to opt for option 1.
Admission to the T.Y.B.Com.: Admissions are avoided in T.Y.B.Com. although a few students with genuine reasons are considered for admission.
B. Com. (Accounting and Finance)
This course is essentially the same Bachelor of Commerce course as described above, with the addition of a specialisation in Accounts and Finance.
This Course was started by the University in 2003-2004 with the objective of creating an additional avenue of self employment in the field of Accounting & Finance by providing students with a proper understanding of Accounts and Finance subjects and also exposing them to operational environments in the field of Accounts and Finance.
This Course is different from the Conventional B.Com Course as it has been designed to inculcate training and uses a practical approach by employing modern modes of education such as industrial visits, guest lectures from professionals in the industry, and the use of modern technologylike computers.
